Authority is the part of search you cannot shortcut and cannot fake. It is also, increasingly, what decides whether an AI assistant names you or names your competitor.
Why links still decide who wins
Google has spent twenty years learning to tell the difference between a site people cite and a site that bought links. It is very good at it now. So is every AI model trained on the same web.
When ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity answer a question about your industry, they name the businesses the web already treats as credible. Not the ones with the best meta descriptions. The ones that get mentioned, quoted, and linked by sources those models trust.
That is what this work builds, and it is why it moves rankings and AI visibility at the same time.
How we build it
Pitches
Direct outreach to editors, journalists and publications that already cover your field. Real pitches with a real angle, written for a person who receives fifty a day. Slower than buying links, and the reason the results hold.
Paid and sponsored media
Placements on publications worth appearing in, negotiated and vetted. Sponsored coverage is legitimate when the outlet is legitimate. We tell you exactly what a placement costs and exactly where it runs.
Curated guest posts
Written for sites with genuine domain authority and a genuine audience, on subjects you can actually speak to. Every target is checked by hand for traffic, editorial standards and relevance before we approach them.
Citations and directories
Consistent business listings across the general and industry-specific directories that matter in your field. Unglamorous, and one of the strongest signals for local search and for the sources AI assistants pull from.
High DA is the filter, not the goal
Domain authority tells you whether a site is worth approaching. It does not tell you whether a link from it will do anything for you. We screen for authority first, then throw out everything that is irrelevant to your audience, and what survives is a much shorter list than most agencies would hand you.
What we will not do
- Private blog networks. They work until the day they get your site penalized, and that day always comes.
- Bulk link packages. A thousand links from sites nobody reads is a thousand ways to look manipulative.
- Anything we would not show you. You get the live URL for every placement. If we cannot show you where a link is, we did not build it.
How long it takes
Outreach has a lead time. Pitches take weeks to land, editorial calendars move slowly, and a placement that appears overnight is usually one worth nothing. Expect the first placements in weeks four to eight, and expect the ranking effect to follow those placements by another month or two as the pages get crawled and the authority passes through.
This is the slowest-moving part of search and the hardest for a competitor to undo once you have it.
Find out what your authority gap actually is
The Visibility Diagnostic includes a full backlink and citation audit, a comparison against your named competitors, and a check on whether AI assistants currently cite you. It tells you what to build before you spend anything building it.
